Mesa County received a grant from the Great Outdoors Colorado fund to finish a bike path between Fruita and Grand Junction. The $2.9 million grant will complete a full trail between the two cities and is part of a 25 year long project to have a contiguous bike path along the Colorado River. This section of the trail is currently under construction and is expected to be complete in two years.
