Now that Dollar General is up and running in Ridgway, the company is willing to give the Town of Palisade another try.  Last year  plans fell through for the development of the discount retailer to set up shop in Palisade.  Now the company has a contract on a piece of land just north of the Palisade pharmacy that it’s looking to develop for its store.  According to Palisade Town Administrator town board members have been told that Dollar General’s administrative officials are planning an informational meeting about the discount store’s proposal.  This meeting will be held next Wed. at 6pm at the Palisade Veterans Memorial Community Center.
