Airlines are cutting back their number of passengers on some of their flights leaving Durango but it has nothing to do with budgeting or fuel costs.  This too is being blamed on the weather.  Due to the statewide heatwave a combination of high altitude and high temperatures has forced airlines to reduce their load so they can take off.  Some airlines have gone as far as changing their schedules to take off during cooler hours.
