At this morning’s Montrose Board of County Commissioners meeting Erika Weeks with Internal Services asked the Commissioners to adopt a resolution to oppose  the state’s attempt to divert some of Great Outdoor Colorado’s share of lottery funds to the State Education funds stating that the public had no choice in the matter and the money was strictly earmarked for State Parks and recreation.  The Commission agreed and approved the resolution.  Also at today’s meeting the board approved the appointment of Doug Glaspell to the Hospital Board of Trustees filling a vacancy made possible when Lorie Riewaldt resigned.
