A Grand Junction volunteer who mentors children has  been accused of molesting four children.  Mesa County Sheriff’s office reports that they have arrested Mark Bustamante who had been mentoring kids through the Mesa County Partners Program from 2009 to May of this year.  Two of the four victims came forward and told police he had sexually molested them.  According to many in the Partners Program they are in shock and can’t believe this would happen.  The program does have an extensive background check before accepting any volunteers.  Bustamante apparently had no priors until now.
