Earlier today a computer snafu caused long lines at Dept. of Motor Vehicles throughout the state.  In Grand Junction the average waiting time for license renewal was about 60 minutes.  The computers are now all back on line.  Apparently the weather  caused  power to be knocked out at a state facility in Lakewood which powers much of the DMV computers.
