GJPD Arrests One in Shooting

The Grand Junction Police have one man in custody after a shooting yesterday. Early Sunday morning officers responded to a shooting in the area of North 12th and Bookcliff Avenue. One man had been wounded and taken to the hospital, but his injuries were not life threatening. Police arrested the suspect later on Sunday evening. 30 year old Kevin Dunham is charged with attempted first degree murder and first degree assault. The case is still under investigation and no more information will be released at this time. If anyone has information about the shooting, call the Mesa County Crimestoppers at 241-STOP.
