Over the weekend Clifton ran into a little water supply problems due to the Pine Ridge Fire which was followed by this weekend’s thunderstorms.  Debris washed into the Colorado River causing water supply problems from the river but Ute Water was able to help out.  Ute Water Conservancy District was able to provide supplemental water to Clifton customers until the runoff washes away the debris from the Colorado River.  The Conservancy District  is hoping that its just a matter of days not weeks that Clifton will be able to get their regular water supply restored.
