Star Drive-In Needs New Equipment; Local Groups Planning Fundraisers.

Several local businesses are working to help save a Montrose institution. With the extinction of thirty five millimeter film and the shift to digital format films on the horizon, the Star Drive In needs to upgrade their equipment or shut their doors. Pam Friend, who runs the Drive-In, explains that getting the digital equipment is expensive.

If the money is raised, they hope to have the new equipment installed later this fall

 You can help out the drive in by purchasing their t-shirts at the drive in, and there are a few other fundraisers in the planning stages at this time. Be sure to head down to the drive in every Tuesday for Colorado Radio Carload Night.
