Thanks to the recent rains we’ve gotten many areas in the western slope are returning to Stage 1 Fire Restrictions.  Those areas include Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests as well as the Uncompahgre Field Office and the Gunnison Field Office of the BLM.  Other counties have not yet made any decisions in going back to Stage 1 Fire restrictions.  Board of County Commissioners in San Miguel, Delta, Montrose, and Gunnison counties will discuss this issue before making a declaration.
