Federal Lands in the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests have reduced their fire restrictions from Stage two to stage one. The lowered restrictions go into effect at midnight tonight and will allow campfires in enclosed, permanent fire rings but there are still restrictions on fireworks and open burning. Montrose, Delta, Gunnison and Ouray counties are still under stage two restrictions.
