Small nonfarm businesses in Delta, Gunnison, Mesa, and Montrose counties are now eligible to apply for low-interest federal disaster loans from the Small Business Administration.  According to Alfred Judd, Director of SBA’s Disaster Field Operations Center,  these loans will give small businesses an opportunity to offset economic losses they incurred because of reduced revenues resulting from this year’s drought.  Eligibility for these loans will be primarily dependent on the financial impact of the drought disaster only and not on any actual property.
