The Suspected Gunman in a shooting that killed twelve in Denver will be appearing in court today. 24 year old Aurora Resident James Holmes is accused of the shooting spree that killed twelve and injured fifty eight others. Holmes was a student of the CU Denver Medical School, in a graduate program for Neurosciences. According to the university, Holmes began the process of withdrawing from that program last month. Police had to clear Holmes’ apartment of Booby Traps after the shooting early Friday morning at the premier of the Dark Knight Rises. More than one hundred personnel from the FBI, the ATF and other local and state agencies were on the scene of his apartment after the shooting. It took bomb squad members more than a day to disarm the sophisticated traps. Neighbors say that there was loud music blaring from Holmes’ apartment until one o clock Friday morning. Police assume the music was to lure someone into the trap he had set. Holmes has not been cooperating with police and will be appearing in court to be advised of the charges against him today. President Barack Obama made a hastily arranged trip to Aurora yesterday to meet with the families of the victims.
