The Montrose Police have confirmed that Robert McGuffee has been arrested.  He is wanted in connection with a shooting that took place in Naturita Monday night.  Apparently the incident took place outside of  Ron’s Auto Repair in Naturita  a business he owns.  He apparently  got into an altercation with the victim, Brandon Pacheco who  was then shot and taken to St. Mary’s hospital in Grand Junction.  The Montrose Press says McGuffee did turn himself in to authorities and his bond was set at $60 thousand.  The charge against him is suspicion of assault and his next court appearance is Aug. 7^th in Nucla.  Formal charges will be announced on the 6^th.  Both the Naturita Marshall’s Office and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation are working on this case together.
