Montrose County Health & Human Services has extended their hours for their Immunization programs during walk in days as parents get their children ready for the school season.  State law requires that all children going to school be up-dated with necessary vaccinations prior to going to school.  The most effected group are students entering kindergarten and those going to sixth grade.  Walk-in immunization hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays starting Wednesday, August 1^st through Thursday, September 27^th.
