A woman who was found after a 911 call came in from Clifton is now being labeled as a “suspicious” death. Mesa County Sheriff’s office made that decision yesterday. The woman who was first found alive inside a home at 236 Second St later died at St. Mary’s hospital. Not many details are available right now as the judge issued a gag order and records sealed in the case. According to assessor records the owner of the home is John C. Campbell. As of 5 yesterday no arrests have been made.
