The Delta County School board has made their decision and they have named Jan Tuin to fill a vacant seat on the board.  He will officially be sworn in at the next scheduled board meeting which is next Thurs. Aug 16^th.    Tuin takes over for Tom Mingen who resigned last May to spend more time with his family.  Tuin explains that the first order of business for him is to get a grasp of how things work at the board and the priority of students should be first and foremost.    Tuin also expressed interest in perhaps consolidating schools in the North Fork.
