Local economies throughout the state have gotten mixed reviews.  A recent survey conducted by the Colorado Municipal League shows a majority of the businesses are growing, however, there are still some communities struggling and some small businesses having  to cut their  budgets this year. The Municipal League president urges many municipalities to continue to invest in their communities and activities as well as  help small businesses, promote tourism, encourage local shopping and if possible try to expand private sector jobs.
