A Colorado State Trooper was involved in an accident when he was trying to pass a truck on his motorcycle.  According to investigators the trooper, Todd Martin, was attempting to pass the truck driver when the driver turned in front him causing Martin to be thrown from his bike.  Martin was taken to Delta County Memorial Hospital where he was treated for his injuries which included fractures, cuts, and bruises and then released.  The truck driver from Montrose is facing charges of careless driving causing injury.
