While Pres. Obama was holding his record breaking crowd rally at Grand Junction H.S. Republicans held a counter event at Sherwood Park.  Sen. Steve King, Rep. Ray Scott, and Congressman Jason Chaffetz from Utah were all on hand and the main theme was the high unemployment rate in Mesa County.  Rep. Scott pointed out that unemployment in Mesa County is sitting at close to 20% and not getting any better.  Unemployment under Obama wasn’t the Republicans only target, they criticized his health care plan as well.
