The economy has not only effected our wallets but our animals as well, particularly horses on the ranch.  According to the Denver Dumb Friend’s League it is currently caring for 50 horses and expects that number to drastically increase and feed costs increase to the point ranchers can no longer afford to feed their stock.  There’s also been a significant increase in animal abuse cases compared to last year.
