Colorado has once again topped the list as the leanest state in the union. The Centers for Disease Control compiled a list of the obesity rates by state from data collected last year. Colorado held its place as the leanest state with an obesity rate of 20.7%, a slight drop from 2010 where the rate was 21%. The heaviest state in 2011 was Mississippi, where more than 33% of adults are obese.
