Colorado Discover Ability and the Walter Reed Army Hospital have joined forces to offer some of our servicemen a rafting trip down the Colorado River as part of their rehabilitation.  It has been discovered by researchers and doctors alike that wounded war vets have seen dramatic improvements when using whitewater river rafting as therapy.  Because of this reason Welcome Home Montrose group feels so strongly about pushing the initiative to get a white water raft park here in Montrose.  The service men who head off to their rafting trip always look forward to their trips.
