The Montrose Rotary Club announced yesterday that there will be no make-up fireworks display in Montrose this year. The July fourth fireworks show was cancelled by the Montrose County Sheriff due to extreme fire conditions. Some residents were speculating that there would be a make-up display like there was in Delta toward the end of July. The Rotary Club says that the money allocated for this year’s display will be saved and used for next year.
