The University of Colorado has made a decision to bar students from bringing guns onto the Boulder Campus dorms even if they have concealed carry permits.  This decision was not based on what happened in Aurora but according to NBC 11 News is a response to a March Colorado Supreme Court ruling that the university can  not ban  permit holders from bringing the weapons on the college premises.   School officials consider this somewhat of a moot point because most of its undergraduate population is under 21 anyway and can’t possess a concealed carry permit.
