A couple of Hikers climbing between two fourteeners stumbled upon an injured dog this week. While climbing between Mount Evans and Mount Bierstadt, the two hikers almost stepped on the German shepherd mix named Missy, which was wedged in a crevice along the trail. The two hikers gave the dog food and water before going back down the mountains to look for help. A team of eight volunteers made a makeshift sling to bring the dog down the mountain. The dog was rushed to the vet once the team made it down the mountain and a doctor proclaimed her a miracle dog.
