Apparently there are false eviction notices being posted on some homes in Grand Junction.  According to the city the language being used in  this notices are not what the city would use in an actual eviction case.  If the City does post a notice on private property it would not be posted until a properly identified City employee makes an in-person contact first or contact is made by a written correspondence via the mail.  If you do receive one of these fake postings read it carefully.
