Earlier this summer when firefighters were busy battling the Waldo Canyon fire they also stumbled upon a marijuana grow in the national forest.  According to the U.S. attorney’s office the value of what the firefighters found is estimated to be about a $15 million street value.  Some of the plants had been destroyed in the blaze and the rest were removed by the U.S. Forest Service  and since authorities are not sure who the marijuana farm belongs to no charges will be filed.
