With Labor Day weekend right around the corner gas prices are seeing a spike through most of the nation. However, here in Colorado the rise of prices has not been as intense as other areas. One Triple A spokesman says that what hikes do take place in Colorado should not take much of toll on many of our plans. In fact, Triple A is anticipating a 3.2 percent increase in auto travel compared to last year at this time. They also say that the state usually lags behind the national trend when it comes to gas prices. And historically following the Labor Day weekend gas prices go down until the holiday season.
