The USA Pro Cycling Challenge stormed through Montrose yesterday for stage two of the seven stage race. The racers started at the pavilion and made their way to main street and then all the way to Crested Butte. There were hundreds of Montrose residents lining the start line at the pavilion, and many of those in attendance rode their bikes to the event. This Montrose resident was enjoying the numerous festivities there at the pavilion.
Jenni Sopsic, executive director for Montrose ACT and one of the major people involved in bringing the race to Montrose says that race day went very well.
She then went on to say that there is a chance we will be looking to do this again next year.
