Grand Junction authorities have nabbed and sentenced Frederico Lerma the head of a drug ring in the area.  Lerma had admitted to moving up to 5 kilograms of cocaine in and out of Grand Junction every 10 days.  He was sentenced to 40 years in jail and is expected to be deported to serve out his sentence.  Lerma’s son also faces deportation.  He currently lives in El Paso.  Mesa County District Attorney’s office is working to avoid that for Lerma’s son because  he was considered a crucial part in the investigation.
