Last night during the city council meeting Mgr. Bill Bell presented a letter of support to the county for their Greater Colorado Outdoor Application for the Fairgrounds project.  Mayor Smitt and council approved the letter in exchange for the support they received from the County for their Whitewater Project.  Councilwoman Carol McDermott  added that the DDA also submitted a letter of recommendation.  The county estimates that the cost of the fairgrounds project is about $75 thousand.
