There was a round of layoffs this week at a major Montrose employer. Gordon Composites announced 26 layoffs from their 83 member workforce, nearly a third of the workforce. The layoffs were due to declining sales of archery equipment. All the 26 employees laid off are eligible to be rehired if demand in the future arises.
