Miranda Davis Sentenced to 24 to 48 Years in Taco Bell Shooting

Lester Miranda Davis of Clifton will winding up serving a prison sentence of 24 to 48 years after pleading guilty to second degree murder, menacing and robbery and a number of other counts. His lawyer made the plea deal as prosecutors agreed to dismiss charges of first degree murder. Miranda Davis is one of four criminals involved in an alleged gang related crime wave that hit Grand Junction last summer. This is one of 4 cases related to the fatal shooting of 31 yr old Jorge Carrasco who was shot while standing outside the Grand Junction Taco Bell on North Ave on the night of July 16th last year. Lester Miranda Davis is expected to go to trial on Dec. 3rd.
