A 67 yr old Grand Junction man was sentenced to 10 years in jail for being behind a local methamphetamine ring.  Carlos Ballardo Lopez otherwise known as “Don Carlos” was given the minimum sentence after he pled guilty to possession with intent to distribute.  Don Carlos was given the minimum sentence as part of his plea deal with prosecution.  He was one of 12 who were arrested last year after they supposedly  imported several pounds of meth from Arizona.
