A Former Grand Junction Police Officer pleaded not guilty to charges of sexual assault on a minor in court yesterday. Forty two year old Eric Janusz is accused of assaulting a minor while he was a police officer from 1996 to 2006. Janusz left the Police Department in 2006 to join the Grand Junction Fire Department, where an injury forced him to leave in February. A Jury Trial has been set for March next year.
