JetAway Makes Offer to Comm.

The JetAway Montrose County dilemma could soon come to an end.  Recently the former CEO of JetAway, Steve Stuhmer, sent a letter to county commissioners saying that JetAway would drop all federal anti-trust lawsuits if a new fixed base operator is allowed to begin operations at the airport.  A copy of that letter was also sent to the Montrose Daily Press.  The new FBO looking to base their operations out of Montrose Regional Airport is Cutter Aviation based out of Arizona.  In his letter Stuhmer is hoping that commissioners consider his proposal and as a showing of good faith JetAway will dismiss all appeals in the Colorado State Court.  The County Commissioners are considering the offer.
