The Montrose Association of Commerce and Tourism announced the date for this year’s Black Canyon Gala. This year will be the one hundred and sixth year of the event which highlights local businesses. The Gala, on October 20^th is also the major fundraiser for Montrose ACT to help promote tourism to Montrose. Montrose ACT will also be handing out an award for the first time this year. The Retailer of the Year award will be given to retailers who show excellence in customer service, business leadership, and community involvement.
