Charges have been filed in a shooting at a Naturita business in July. Forty seven year old Ronald McGuffee was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a weapon by a previous offender. McGuffee has long criminal history and he was also charged with four counts of being a habitual criminal. He allegedly brandished a handgun during an argument at his business and the victim fled the scene. McGuffee shot at the vehicle and struck the driver, who was injured. He will be back in court in early October.
