The Mesa County Sheriff’s office is investigating a dead body that was found in a ditch in Fruita yesterday. The body is that of a man in his twenties with clean cut hair and no tattoos. The Sheriff’s Office is investigating a possible connection between this and a car accident earlier. Just a quarter mile from where the body was found, there was a rollover accident early yesterday morning. Police were not able to find the driver of the vehicle. An autopsy will be performed to identify the body.
