Drug use is becoming an increasing problem for the Montrose Police Department. Drug-related arrests are up, and the drugs of choice seem to be Cocaine and Methamphetamine. Montrose Police Chief Tom Chinn says that the issue is not just for the Police Department. The Coalition for a Drug Free Montrose County works to increase awareness and help prevent drug and alcohol abuse.
