Is it possible for Western Colorado to generate electricity, fuels  or bio-products from woody byproducts of forest treatments?  That will be the topic of discussion at Friendship Hall  next Thur. Sept. 27^th from 1:30pm to 4:15pm to which the public is invited. A couple of guest speakers, Dr. Nate Anderson and John Hogland will reveal the results of their two year study.  Both men will discuss the feasibility of using biomass from the Uncompahgre Plateau.  This presentation is being hosted by the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre, and Gunnison National Forest and the Uncompahgre Partnership.
