USDA Making $12M Available for Drought-Stricken Farmers

The USDA is making nearly $12,000,000 available for farmers in drought-stricken states. The money will be available to help farmers increase conservation to reduce the impacts of droughts. The announcement was praised by Senator Michael Bennet, who is urging the House of Representatives to pass the 2012 farm bill.
