Police in a suburb of Denver are still looking for a missing girl. 10 year old Jessica Ridgeway went missing on Friday after she didn’t meet up with friends to walk to school. Her mother is a shift worker and did not know her daughter was missing until later on Friday. Even though there is no danger to other children, the Westminster Police Department has posted officers outside of all elementary schools. Police in the suburb of Aurora, just south of Westminster are looking into two other child enticement cases they’ve had to see if there’s any connection. However, police say that there is no reason to believe there is a serial kidnapper. On Sunday, Jessica’s backpack and water bottle were found in the town of Superior, six miles north of where she went missing. Police have not commented on what was found inside the backpack. Police and more than eight hundred volunteers are still searching for the girl.
