House Dist. 58 Candidates Square Off At Candidates Forum

Oct 10th @ 5:00 pm in News by Scott Staley

During last night’s candidate’s forum it was clear that both Don Coram and Tammy Theis, who are running for House District 58, had very different opinions on a number of issues.  Don Coram sees de-regulation as a key to help the private sector to do its job.  Meanwhile Ms. Theis explains we need to abide by the statutes laid down in our constitution and many of the regulations imposed are necessary to insure a healthier lifestyle for Colorado.  She feels more research is needed to provide safe and renewable energy.  Over the next few years Don Coram said he would like to see a number of entities work together for the good of the Western Slope. Coram also explains that a good portion of our revenue comes from mining and energy jobs and it’s important to focus on that.
