GJ Police Looking For Hit And Run Driver

GJ police are asking the public’s help in a hit and run incident that took place on Monday.  According to the police about 1pm that day a pregnant woman was driving along Ute Ave. when she was suddenly cut off by a driver .  That move caused both vehicles to crash at the intersection of Ute And 10th St.  The SUV, who cut off the woman, then took off while the woman had to  be taken out of her car and taken to the hospital.  All the police know right now is that the SUV in question is described as a 90’s model that could be dark gray or charcoal in color and similar to that of a Chevy Blazer.  The suspect is described as a white male in his 30’s.  If you have any information about this incident, you are asked to call the Grand Junction Police Department at 242-6707 or Crime Stoppers at 241-STOP.
