73 Ft. Colorado Spruce Headed To Washington To Be Nation’s Christmas Tree

A 73 ft. Colorado Spruce is about ready to makes it long run to Washington to be the Christmas Tree for the U.S. Capitol. According to the Forest Service, the tree is expected to be cut down Friday at Ripple Creek Lodge east of Meeker. Former U.S. Sen Ben Nighthorse Campbell and the lodge owner will be making the trip to deliver the tree to the nation’s capitol.
