One of the town’s most well-know landmark and popular restaurant is closing. The Bon Ton Restaurant in Ouray will close its doors and it cites a tough summer and some internal “turbulence” from former employees as the primary factors. According to one of its owners this is a situation that has been building for some time and financial backers have decided to pull out as a result. The owners, Tucker and Hill bought the businesses in a 5-year lease purchase last December from Dan and Sandy Lingenfelter.
