Naturita Community Library Picks Up Prestigious Award

The Institute of Museum and Library Services today announced the Naturita Community Library of Naturita, Colo. as one of 10 recipients of this year’s National Medal for Museum and Library Service. The nation’s highest honor is annually given to museums and libraries for exceptional service to their community. Naturita Community Library is a hub for the town and offers such programs as early literacy and parenting as well as computer skills and workforce development.  Scott Shine, President of the Board of Trustees and community member Jaimy Fulbright will travel to Washington to accept the award at a celebration on November 14.
