The Delta County Department of Health and Human Services reported a year to date total of 35 human cases of West Nile Virus and 1 fatality in October, compared to 1 case of the virus and no fatalities in all of 2011.  Seven of those cases resulted in hospitalizations.  For more information, go to www.fightthebitecolorado.com.
